Channel 4 Opens Applications for Disabled People Looking to Start a Career in TV

Ever dreamed of working in the TV industry? Whether it's getting involved in the action behind the small screen or getting involved in design, Channel 4's Paras Production Training Scheme could be for you!

What is Channel 4’s Paras Production Training Scheme?

Applications are now open for disabled people to take part in a 12-month paid position. There are a variety of roles, from social media to entertainment content and aim to increase disability representation in the media industry. 16 lucky people will have the opportunity to work for Channel 4.

“As part of our commitment to recruiting and promoting disabled talent in television, Channel 4 is launching the PARAS Production Training Scheme. This programme is aimed at disabled people. Disabled people are currently underrepresented in the media industry and this is something we want to change.”

Do I need relevant experience?

This opportunity is for people with little or no experience in TV.
